Two KingCast TOUCH 106.1 FM Martin Luther King Day wishes.

One: The next time you pass someone of a different ethnic or cultural persuasion than you, make it a point to find a way to make conversation with them, and smile. That's all.

Two: That Boston Police Commissioner Davis succeeds in his mission to fire Justin "Jungle Monkey" Barrett at tomorrow's disciplinary hearing, and of course continued best wishes for anyone and everyone dealing with unlawful discrimination.

Today's reading:
Letter from a Birmingham Jail. It was the subject of my undergrad thesis in my Rhetoric class.
A quote from one of the Sanitation Workers who had just met Martin Luther King prior to his assassination on 4 April, 1968:
"If you bend your back people will ride your back. If you stand up straight can't nobody ride you."
